Work#1 "Cross embroidered Ukraine. Tortured. Murdered. As if embroidered by the death herself"
The bitter irony lies in the fact that cross-stitching belongs to one of the Ukrainian traditions, and black - one of the fundamental colors of the Ukrainian embroidery - is the color of grief. We have intentionally deviated from the historical accuracy of the Ukrainian borders in 1933 to make the territory of the country more familiar to the contemporary audience.

Work#2 "A child's laugh, a parent's preaching, an old man's grumbling... Everything is quiet now"
Instead of the family members we find crosses as a reminder of the horrible tragedy of slaughtering the Ukrainian family.

Work#3 "There is nothing left for dinner. No one left to serve. No one left to eat"
The cross-broken plate lying on the newly dug up ground is a symbol of the starvation death.

BRONZE – National festival of Social advertising (Ukraine), 2007
